Simon Reynolds
Simon Reynolds is the author of ten books including the new Still In A Dream: Shoegaze, Slackers and the Reinvention of Rock, 1984-94. His previous books include Rip It Up and Start Again: Postpunk 1978-84, Retromania: Pop Culture’s Addiction to Its Own Past, and Energy Flash: A Journey Through Rave Music and Dance Culture. Reynolds contributes to publications including Pitchfork, The Guardian, The New York Times and The Wire and he blogs at Blissblog. Born in London, he now lives in Los Angeles, where he teaches in the Experimental Pop program at the California Institute of the Arts.
