Lukáš Csicsely (1989) is a screenwriter, educator, and writer. He works across a range of formats, including audio, prose, film, and comics, and devotes a significant part of his work to children (five of his books have been selected for IBBY’s annual Best Books for Children collection). His recent completed projects include the screenplay for the feature film Kdyby radši hořelo, which premiered at the Berlinale; the audio series Předvečer sv. Mikuláše, which was named Best Audiobook for Children and Young People; and comics about Jaromír Jágr and a cunning dung beetle, both nominated for the Golden Ribbon Award.
