Brenda Navarro

Brenda Navarro has won several literary awards in Spain and was a finalist for the 2023 Vargas Llosa Biennial Prize. She participated in the University of Iowa’s International Writing Program in 2023 and served as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Creative Writing MFA program at the same institution in the spring of 2025. Her two novels have been translated into more than fifteen languages. Brenda has worked as a literary program coordinator, writer, screenwriter, and editor.
