Leonardo San Pietro
Leonardo San Pietro was born in Turin in 1997. He studied creative writing at Scuola Holden before going on to study Linguistics at the University of Bologna, where he currently lives. He spent a year working as a manuscript reader at Einaudi. His first short stories appeared in the daily newspaper Domani and 'tina, a literary magazine founded by Matteo B. Bianchi dedicated to emerging writers. His debut novel, Festa con casuario (Sellerio, 2025) (A Party with a Cassowary), was awarded both the Premio Mondello and the Premio Mondello Giovani. The novel is currently being translated into thirteen languages.
