Martina Ivanová

Martina Ivanová (*1976) works at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Prešov in Prešov as a professor of Slovak language and literature. She is engaged in research into the contemporary Slovak language. She is the scientific editor of the Dictionary of Contemporary Slovak Language. She translated G. Steiner's work Lekcie majstrov (Lessons of the Masters, 2022) into Slovak. The nominated collection Výklad významu (Interpretation of Meaning, Svojpomocné umelecké družstvo – SUD, 2024) is her poetic debut.
