Juraj Buzalka

Juraj Buzalka, social anthropologist at Comenius University in Bratislava, researches and teaches on social and political movements, politics of memory and religion, and wine transformations. He is an author of The Cultural Economy of Protest in Postsocialist European Union. Village Fascists and their Rivals (London: Routledge 2021), Nation and Religion: The Politics of Commemoration in South-east Poland (Műnster: Lit 2007). He also authored Slovenská ideológia a kríza (Bratislava: Kalligram 2012) a Postsedliaci: slovenský ľudový protest (Bratislava: Mamaš 2023).
