Marek Debnár works as a director of the Centre of digital humanities at the FF UKF in Nitra. He has a PhD. in systematic philosophy with a focus on the problem of interpretation of philosophical and literary texts and their connection to categories of autor and subject. Since 2019, he has also been a researcher at the Department of Textology and digital projects at the Centre of Slovak literature of the Slovak Academy of Sciences. He focuses on methodology of quantitative formalism in text analysis and distance reading in wider interdisciplinary usage in terms of digital humanities.
