Zlatá Vlna 2020

The civic association Novotvar, the civic association Vlna and the Literary Information Center organise the 2nd year of the national prize for poetry Zlatá Vlna 2020. The event takes place under the auspices of the mayor of Bratislava Ing. arch. Matúš Vall, composer and lyricist of the Para group, and Karin Habšudová, winners of the Hopman Cup in 1998, quarterfinalist Roland Garros from 1996 and the first Slovak to reach the top ten of the WTA world rankings. A jury composed of Derek Rebro, Jaroslav Šrank and Eva Urbanová, after fierce electronic disputes, decided to pick the following five books from the ocean of Slovak poetry collections published in 2019: 

ĽUBOŠ BENDZÁK: Vlastná Váha
JANA BODNÁROVÁ: Terče
EVA LUKA: Jazver
IVONA PEKÁRKOVÁ: Lepšia verzia seba
KAMIL ZBRUŽ: Deň pri jazere

The winner will be announced on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at the Novotvar 2020 festival.
