Vlado Nosáľ & Barbara Vojtašáková duo

Vlado Nosal is a singer-songwriter from Bratislava. He started his career with an alternative rock band, Queer Jane, who released three acclaimed albums and have been called "the best indie band you have never heard of". Vlado's knack for catchy melodies and lyrical wit led to international collaborations, including writing with The Brian Jonestown Massacre and Boo Hewerdine. Currently, Vlado is recording and touring with his back-up band, The Avedons. Their sound seamlessly blends rock'n'roll history with a more experimental, lo-fi edge, all while staying true to the "songs first" attitude. On Novotvar he will be performing a special acoustic set with the Avedons' keyboard player and vocalist Barbara Vojtášaková.
